Everywhere there is art in New York and interesting views of art in the surrounding architecture of the City

When I was in New York, there was a gallery who was showing Salvadore Dali sculptures made specially for them in a limited edition. It was wonderful to get to see them and in the environment of the open atrium, the sculptures seemed to come alive interacting with the other elements in their surroundings. Really amazing.

And, I got to watch my daughter crawl slowly through every piece taking a video of each one with its placard title and description. It was also amazing to see. It gave us something to discuss and try to tell others about as well. I can understand why art is so vibrant. At every point in its life, it stimulates, inspires, encourages discussion and debate, awakens the desire to describe and share with others what was seen and how it felt to interact with it and beyond all that, it brings together the wonder in us all.

Really, an outstanding place to view art and we were fortunate to have two cameras so we could enjoy photographing the Dali sculptures as well as the atrium with its colorful star mobiles floating in the city suspended beyond the windows.

Genuinely fun.
